Watercolor technique

First project Acrylic technique used with the watercolor painting is the best.
Well it has been interesting coloring pages with watercolor all the time. But today is Acrylic day. It is going to be a simple design like a border pattern.
Firstly, I decided to use Acrylic blending with crimson red and lemon yellow to level up with Gamboge watercolor. And then that is what I got as a main background. Design is challenging whether to go for one color or more. So I chose both of Acrylic watercolor combination. Where the first design of Acrylic would not hold on and that is why the color smudged and left the edges sparkling. So, I tried with Watercolor and that stayed. Yeah ! 👍🏻👍🏻
Second wash of Acrylic Redcrimson was to paint the whole design to rejuvenate the look. And yes again that worked. So I gave the same look to the Watercolor design.
And then was third wash I drew a circle black microtip pen to make it notice more than before. Even the design under the oval shape was like its two feet and that was not enough with just a Acrylic watercolor. And I did manage to draw with microtip pen over the tiny curves. It was so amazing and excellent that it seemed like a Whimsical patterns. And that turned into a Hexagon tile.

Second project was of Watercolor magic and  technique  was trying some crayons. And so I had White and light green crayons. And for the overall was the background pattern. I chose purple shading it from light to dark and painting it across and over the crayons.
i could just imagine how wonderful its pattern tile would come out. So it did.
once I got this tile I could not wait for the exciting finish.
A  diamond shape pattern is what I got.

Third pattern project on Watercolor technique
I was thinking about the watercolor magic. And Surprise there it was a exciting finish.
I took a flat brush and simply swaying it across the watercolor paper. It came glittering out. Yes you got me right 👍🏻 it was a Glitter technique. I waited for the surface to dry and then took my watercolor pallet with a Brush pen and made a red crimson floral and with a Angular brush made an Abstract image and circled that with second wash of Sea green watercolor just to highlight it. And the feeling was WOW ! So great and excellent that my technique worked.
then I made a wonderful Bubble wrap
it can go on t-shirts,  Book covers or cards.
The best thing is that glitter stays out of watercolor design.
Lastly, I made a vertical pattern
So very gorgeous feeling once the pattern was out.

Fourth pattern project
We have taken a glue which is used school craft work. We then  applied it to the Watercolor paper and it was dry we also brushed dry dry watercolor. Second wash was the wet technique on glued surface where we have used the same watercolor brush dipping it with enough pigment and more water. You will notice the difference between the painted area. The top area looks like a walkway or a pavement and the below area looks like a puddle one as though it has rained.

Now it has completely dried and the image is outstanding and we can draw a pattern.
So that is all as there are many projects on Watercolor technique. There are many different watercolor techniques
Wet on wet
Wet on dry
Dry brush technique
Lifting technique
Flat brush
Gradient wash
Variegated wash
And there are more of the crafty technique. Link is below https://www.craftsy.com/post/watercolor-techniques-you-have-to-try/

Thank you for visiting and viewing ipage blog. In the next blog is my creation of Border pattern tile. Stay tuned for the exciting one.

Zentangles cubism

Zentangles and Cubism are two distinct art forms, but combining them creates a fascinating fusion. *Zentangles:* Zentangles are a meditative drawing practice that creates intricate, repetitive patterns using fine lines, curves, and shapes. These patterns resemble mandalas or mosaic art. Zentangles aim to promote relaxation, focus, and creativity. *Cubism:* Cubism is an early 20th-century art movement pioneered by Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque. Cubism rejects traditional techniques of perspective and representation, instead emphasizing: 1. Geometric forms 2. Fragmented objects 3. Multiple viewpoints 4. Overlapping planes *Zentangles Cubism:* Zentangles Cubism blends the intricate patterns of Zentangles with Cubist principles. Imagine: 1. Geometric Zentangle patterns fragmented into cubes or shapes 2. Overlapping, interconnected Zentangle designs 3. Multiple viewpoints and angles in a single piece 4. Zentangle patterns broken down into geometric, abstracted forms This fusion creates v...

Importance of investing Art and Human behavior

Art can powerfully influence human behavior by offering narratives, sparking awareness, promoting creative problem-solving, and envisioning possible futures.  Through storytelling, art helps us explore different choices, understand consequences, and empathize with others, potentially inspiring change. Public art can raise awareness about social or environmental issues, while the creative process itself encourages innovative thinking and problem-solving. Furthermore, art's ability to represent alternative futures can inspire change by offering models of what could be.  Here's a more detailed look: Narrative and Storytelling: Art, especially through stories in films, theater, and novels, allows us to explore diverse perspectives and consequences, fostering empathy and potentially leading to behavioral shifts.  Public Art and Awareness: Public art can raise awareness about specific issues, such as climate change or social justice, motivating collective action.  Creative...
