Abstract watercolor Zentangles composition

           Abstract composition

The abstract is intended to describe your work without going into great detail. Galina had a fantastic idea. Abstract things are informative, descriptive, critical, and highlight abstracts. However, students have been given a project and time.

 Galina's Abstract Composition

A close-up of Galina's hand, holding a paintbrush poised over a blank canvas. The brush is dripping with vibrant, jewel-toned paint. The background is a messy, yet organized, studio filled with tubes of paint, jars of brushes, and various canvases in different stages of completion.

Galina, a young artist, stood before her blank canvas, a whirlwind of colors and emotions swirling within her.

A wider shot of Galina, her face illuminated by the studio's overhead lamp. Her eyes are closed, her brow furrowed in concentration. The canvas is now a blur of swirling colors, capturing the intensity of her emotions.

The canvas is now half-painted. Bold, geometric shapes in contrasting colors dominate the composition. There's a sense of movement, of energy bursting from the canvas.

Abstract composition project-
Abstract pots from home items - any paper (printed or plain), coasters 2 (square and round), measure cup, a ladel , pencil and scissor.

Galina worked tirelessly, her brush dancing across the paper, fueled by an inner fire.

Galina steps back, her face reflecting a mix of satisfaction and uncertainty. The canvas, now complete, is a riot of color and form. It's abstract, yet undeniably captivating.

Galina's hands reach out to touch the canvas, her fingers tracing the contours of the abstract shapes. A subtle smile touches her lips.

In the silence of her studio, Galina knew. She had created something unique, something born from her own inner world, something that resonated with her soul.

A close-up of the completed canvas, now bathed in the warm glow of the setting sun. The vibrant colors seem to pulsate with life.

Galina's abstract composition was more than just paint on canvas. It was a journey, a celebration of her own creativity, a testament to the power of artistic expression.

Galina asked the students, What do I want to express? What story does this canvas want to tell?'

The canvas is now half-painted. Bold, geometric shapes in contrasting colors dominate the composition. There's a sense of movement, of energy bursting from the canvas.

Galina asked:  'Is it enough? Does it evoke anything?'

The team cut out the border after they drew the outline pattern.
Galin and her students were thrilled on what they got. Abstract composition of pots.
They had to do a project on Fragrance.
The students made Chia fragrance for all the customers.  Perfumes come in round and oval shapes mostly admired by Women, while rectangular and cylindrical ones are for Men.

Next day the abstract painting composition was back the main goal 🥅 trying to make an idea into a amazing reality. I got all craft material and painting stuff ready to go, with the watercolor paper towels and paint of acrylic watercolor.
That turned out to be very beautiful as
 Acrylic watercolor Zentangles
Abstract composition project- was a whole culture around these intricate graphic paintings. All kinds of predefined patterns exist, they even have beautiful and exotic names like Crescent Moon, Shattuck, Nipa, Betweed, Cruffle, Poke Root, Verdigogh,  Flux and Zander. Then I thought what if I drew it in some other colors. I took colored pens Brown and Blue to make a wavy pattern and few straight lines as Zentangles pattern on a pot which was cutout from a brown paper. Then I had few crafty materials like brown floral and few strawberries to just bring some highlights to the picture. I made a watercolor paper as wet on wet with blue texture and spread it with a sponge. Then I drew the outline of a plant and flowers with acrylic and the shape of the pot too with the simple colored pens. At the end while I was painting the picture was coming to light. Wowweeeeeeeeee !!! feeling today. My abstract composition was excellent though I should have highlighted the background with some more colors. But, it is okay since what I had thought off I was very happy to made it as a handmade painting.

While still being true to the philosophy of the Zentangle by letting the shapes give a wonderful lines whether curvy or straight lines, simply focusing on the process of moving the paint brush and pens over the paper. Zentangle pattern is what I used to draw mehendi patterns earlier. Now it has become a common thing.

You all let me know through the comments below the blog post as how did you feel about the Abstract composition. I hope you all must have liked the painting. I have one cutout of pot shape to be done. Which I will do it later and then showcase.

It is an amazing time I had while I was finishing my project. Thank you very much for your time and support in visiting my ipage blog.

Cheers,

Baseline grid

Here’s a draft document explaining baseline grid design, including an example. Understanding Baseline Grid Design.. What is a Baseline Grid? A baseline grid is an invisible set of horizontal lines that helps designers align text and other elements consistently across a page or screen. Think of it as the “invisible lined paper” for your design, ensuring that every line of text sits on the same horizontal plane, creating a harmonious and organized look. Why Use a Baseline Grid? Consistency: Ensures all text lines up perfectly, making your design look neat and professional. Readability: Improves the reading experience by providing a predictable rhythm for the eyes to follow. Alignment: Helps align images, icons, and other elements with text for a cohesive layout. How to Set Up a Baseline Grid Choose a Base Line Height: Start by selecting a line height for your body text (e.g., 16px or 24px). This becomes the spacing between each line of your grid. Apply the Grid: Overlay the baseline grid...
