Spilled colors in art

Color theme
I have got this color theme as a fundamental to create a pattern tile.

There were other choices but this one stood up as a Fuchsia pattern image. And white space added to my creation.

Repeat pattern
A repeat pattern is made cutting out the elements of the drawing and placing them in sequence of the final pattern. Then as a group you can place them on the border or the square image. Also, the background can be with colors of your choice. You can first sketch the design and then place it on the Moodboard - Icon, Sketch, Color theme and pattern tile. As this moodboard is only an inspiration to come out with amazing designs.
With the sketch of the petal
From the above I got a Pink color theme. So, I created a wonderful step by step guide :
Step 1: Draw a Design.
Step 2: Cut, Flip, Tape.
Step 3: Repeat, Cut (the other way), Flip, Tape.
Step 4: Draw in the Blank Spaces.
Step 5: Copy, Copy, Copy-and Assemble!
A pattern rule is used to find the value of each term or a sketch drawn in a sequence. For instance the petal
In my Skillshare project I have created a wonderful surface patterns and a tile. It has been interesting while the pattern has also got White negative space which is in between the tiles.
Diagonal line patterns are a bit more tricky to make than a simple horizontal, or vertical pattern, but with some rock-solid alignment, and manual input into the Transform Panel, you'll be making diagonal patterns in no time.

You'll learn to blend different geometrical Illustrator patterns and figures. And this image says all.

Thank you for visiting and viewing my ipage blog. Next is more interesting and inspiring pattern tile.

Cheers,
Gcb

Baseline grid

Here’s a draft document explaining baseline grid design, including an example. Understanding Baseline Grid Design.. What is a Baseline Grid? A baseline grid is an invisible set of horizontal lines that helps designers align text and other elements consistently across a page or screen. Think of it as the “invisible lined paper” for your design, ensuring that every line of text sits on the same horizontal plane, creating a harmonious and organized look. Why Use a Baseline Grid? Consistency: Ensures all text lines up perfectly, making your design look neat and professional. Readability: Improves the reading experience by providing a predictable rhythm for the eyes to follow. Alignment: Helps align images, icons, and other elements with text for a cohesive layout. How to Set Up a Baseline Grid Choose a Base Line Height: Start by selecting a line height for your body text (e.g., 16px or 24px). This becomes the spacing between each line of your grid. Apply the Grid: Overlay the baseline grid...
