Textured Watercolor paper

Texture is a visual surface charatestics added to the work of art. It also means the physicality of colors variation of depth in a painting.
There are four different kinds; actual texture, implied texture, invented texture and abstract textur.

Here the image is got the gesso effect where the paint is applied after the gesso brushed.
There are 3 ways to apply watercolor texture
1. Chop sticks or straw
2. Cling wrap
3. Bubble wrap
Watercolor paper comes in two sides — one side has a smooth side and one side has a rough or textured side. It is best to use the textured side for the textured works on rough paper.
But at the same time “whichever side you like to use” you could use both sides. The only real difference being a subtle variation in texture. Watercolor medium is the hardest to paint then the opaque medium Acrylic or Oil paint. Where the mistakes are difficult to erase as the appear in the layers applied on to the watercolor paper.

Now, this is a lifting technique on watercolor paper and then used the chalk paint to give a white Font type.

this is with the masking tape where you cover the tree area and then do the first wash as a background. Then you let the color dry. After the color dries you can paint nature the way you want just like I have done.

Whichever way you can get do the shade part first and then the resist pattern tile or vice versa. This is done exclusively on Watercolor paper.
Draw the image and sketch the Font type letters in Microtip pen. You will see an amazing results.

whimsical pot
This frame is so fabulous that I painted the Whimsical patterns then the florals painting and over that outlining with black microtip pen. It was trying to hold my breath till it got finished. And I drew the background with Photoshop technique.

Here is the best way to practice your watercolor techniques. And I will send some more  pictures of Watercolor technique as soon as I get them done 👍🏻👍🏻.

Thank you for visiting and viewing my ipage blog. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Zentangles cubism

Zentangles and Cubism are two distinct art forms, but combining them creates a fascinating fusion. *Zentangles:* Zentangles are a meditative drawing practice that creates intricate, repetitive patterns using fine lines, curves, and shapes. These patterns resemble mandalas or mosaic art. Cubism rejects traditional techniques of perspective and representation, instead emphasizing: 1. Geometric forms 2. Fragmented objects 3. Multiple viewpoints 4. Overlapping planes *Zentangles Cubism:* Zentangles Cubism blends the intricate patterns of Zentangles with Cubist principles. Imagine: 1. Geometric Zentangle patterns fragmented into cubes or shapes 2. Overlapping, interconnected Zentangle designs 3. Multiple viewpoints and angles in a single piece 4. Zentangle patterns broken down into geometric, abstracted forms This fusion creates v...

Importance of investing Art and Human behavior

Art can powerfully influence human behavior by offering narratives, sparking awareness, promoting creative problem-solving, and envisioning possible futures.  Through storytelling, art helps us explore different choices, understand consequences, and empathize with others, potentially inspiring change. Public art can raise awareness about social or environmental issues, while the creative process itself encourages innovative thinking and problem-solving. Furthermore, art's ability to represent alternative futures can inspire change by offering models of what could be.  Here's a more detailed look: Narrative and Storytelling: Art, especially through stories in films, theater, and novels, allows us to explore diverse perspectives and consequences, fostering empathy and potentially leading to behavioral shifts.  Public Art and Awareness: Public art can raise awareness about specific issues, such as climate change or social justice, motivating collective action.  Creative...
