Watercolor my way

Discovering Different Watercolor Painting Styles
The Birch tree is the best thing that I like to paint. And if there is a chirping sound then it is fabulous to draw. So, it is as above picture is depicting.

Next is Whimsical pumkin
i had to sketch first and then I gave a blend of Cambouge that is mustard yellow and Crimson red. Then mix Indigo and Sap green giving Brown color. And lastly outlined with the Microtip pen.  To make it more whimsical is the extra sketch added of both the Pumpkins as holding a glass added more fun to the Whimsical patterns.

Painting with the nature.
This is at a Glass House Auckland domain. There were variety of colorful flowers.  The Wintergardens consist of two Victorian-style glasshouses, one non-heated Temperate House and the other is the Tropical House. And so as still painting I sketched the Dahlia flower.  And then I put lots of water to the pigment Watercolor again with gradient and lastly outlined the image with the Microtip pen.

How to put watercolor on a paper while you practice?

First golden rule:
Start with a palette of watercolors. Next, use a small spray bottle or a syringe, or a spoon to hydrate the color. Then, dip your brush in water to moisten it, dab the brush onto a pigment, and put the pigment-rich brush on paper. That's it!
Second golden rule: is use a lot of water.
At the beginning use a lot of water and you reduce it gradually as you go along the painting.
Third golden rule : Avoid precise details.
We don't need any details because watercolor is not to over color the image but to understand the basics and present it correctly. Watercolor does require some practice.

Wet-In-Wet Watercolor Painting.
Underpainting.

Watercolor Blooms.

In the above images is technique used such as Bloom, Lifting and Wet on wet.
Here I have sketched the images and then given a gradient background and over the background I made few colorful flowers, lines and some arc like features to add to the design including the font.

Now you have watercolor kit and the advantage of the artist's palette is that you can take it with you wherever you go.   You have everything for painting in nature , traveling or just at home. I think it is best to add some more to the kit like the  pencils, sharpener and the eraser best for sketching, pattern or something to explore.

So, thank you very much for visiting and viewing my ipage blog.
Will look for more natural watercolor magic to add to my creation.

Cheers,

Baseline grid

Here’s a draft document explaining baseline grid design, including an example. Understanding Baseline Grid Design.. What is a Baseline Grid? A baseline grid is an invisible set of horizontal lines that helps designers align text and other elements consistently across a page or screen.
